For the first time, Vietfish 2024 features a shared booth area for domestic enterprises

With the goal of bringing exported seafood products to Vietnamese consumers, Vietfish 2024 organized by VASEP has, for the first time, focused on a dedicated area for showcasing seafood products for the domestic market. This event provides an opportunity for local consumers to access high-quality seafood products that meet international standards at reasonable prices, products that Vietnam is currently exporting to 170 countries.

Within the framework of this year’s fair, VASEP has organized a shared booth for the Domestic Market Club specifically for its member companies supplying seafood to the domestic market. This initiative aims to facilitate the promotion and sale of high-quality seafood products to domestic customers and consumers, as well as to find and meet potential customers during the fair to develop and expand the domestic market.

As the global market becomes increasingly challenging, the potential of the domestic market remains substantial. To balance supply and demand and reduce dependence on export markets, seafood enterprises are gradually shifting their focus to developing the domestic market, bringing export-quality seafood products to Vietnamese consumers.

Vietfish 2024 hopes this will serve as an effective promotional channel, offering a wide range of nutritious and convenient food options for Vietnamese families, catering to the diverse culinary needs of the younger Vietnamese generation who are rapidly adapting to global consumption trends. Additionally, it aims to contribute to the rapid growth of Vietnam’s promising F&B sector.

At this year’s Vietfish, the Domestic Market Club has featured 8 companies (VASEP members) showcasing a variety of specialty products such as shrimp balls, fish balls, shrimp rolls, fish rolls, fish cakes, seafood spring rolls, grilled squid, as well as premium dried and canned products.

These delicious, convenient, and safe pre-processed seafood products that have already conquered hundreds of countries worldwide are now returning to serve Vietnamese consumers.

The domestic enterprises also offer products prepared on-site for visitors to enjoy directly at the fair’s Cooking Show area.
