One hundred outstanding Young Entrepreneurs were honored for their successful start-up businesses in 2015 at a ceremony in Hanoi on 9 August. The event was co-organized by the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Central Association and Red Star club with Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of PCC Economic Commission, Mr. Vu Trong Kim, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President cum Secretary General to Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, one hundred nationwide entrepreneurs in attendance. Mr. Tran Van Hau, Chairman cum General Director of Hung Hau Development Corp., was honored with the award “TOP TEN OUTSTANDING YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR START-UP” this year.
The award, namely “Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Start-up”, is a prestigious one granted to young entrepreneurs, currently holding key leadership role in enterprise with operation in Vietnam, out-performing in enterprise operation and management, making great contribution to state budget, creating thousands of jobs for local employees, and pro-actively taking part in social activities and community development.
Particularly, Top Ten Outstanding Young Entrepreneur is granted to those entrepreneurs’ who are no more than 35 years of age with less-than-10-year businesses start-up, creative thinking, and operating businesses at rapid and sustainable growth rate.
Sharing his joy upon receipt of the award, entrepreneur Tran Van Hau revealed that his today’s personal and HungHau Holdings (HHH) achievement was largely attributed to his endeavor individually and staff contributions collectively, especially made by associates at the early stage of HungHau Holdings start-up.
Mr Hau first started his businesses in 2004 in Dong Thap province. He has been in charge of a variety of important management positions at fisheries, investment, petroleum enterprises over the past 10 years. In business, he understands thoroughly the notion of showing his appreciation for the contributions made by his clients, associates or staffs. In education and training, he clearly defines the educational mottos of Van Hien University, i.e., educating Vietnamese young generation how to behave properly prior to becoming successful in life, to work responsibly, to be good to herself/himself, to be dutiful to their family, and to be good country citizens.
Presently, Mr. Tran Van Hau is currently a chairman cum General Director of HungHau Development Corp. leading a large number of member companies with more than 1600 staffs. Concurrently, he is also a chairman of Van Hien University and deemed as the youngest chairman of a Vietnamese Univeristy.
