Vietnam black tiger shrimp production grows stably in July 2014

Seafood farmed production in July accounted for approximately 368 million tons increased 4.0 percent compared the same period last year. This boosts seafood farmed production of the first seven months up to 1.189 million tons increased 3.6 percent compared the same period last year.

As the reports of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, black tiger shrimp production is still stable. However, farmed area and production of some provinces decreased when compared the same period last year included Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and Ho Chi Minh City. Properly, Kien Giang province has the rising in both farmed area and production.
