Vietnam pangasius exports in the first 6 months of 2021

In June 2021, the export value of Vietnamese pangasius reached nearly 142.6 million USD, up 28.1%. By the end of June 2021, the export value of pangasius reached 780.9 million USD, up 17% over the same period last year. With a positive increase of 17% compared to the first half of 2020, showing that the efforts of individual exporters in the world economy have not yet recovered, consumption abroad has not changed much. This positive result restores confidence to Vietnamese pangasius exporters. However, recently, the Covid-19 epidemic broke out in Ho Chi Minh City and there is a risk of spreading affecting the transportation of goods and production.

Talking about pangasius import and export, in the first 4 months of 2021, Hung Hau Agriculture Joint Stock Company exported 1,148,349 kg of pangasius and value-added products with a growth rate compared to the same period last year. The market has remained stable in many countries such as Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, France, Belarus, Belgium, Netherlands, Malaysia, Russia, Netherlands, Mautirus, etc… for many years now. The company still proposes appropriate methods to develop more and more, contributing to improving the value of Vietnam’s pangasius export.
