On the morning of May 18, at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center, the opening ceremony of the Vietnamese pavilion at the SIAL Shanghai 2023 International Food Industry Fair took place.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen The Tung, Consul General of Vietnam in Shanghai; Mr. Adam Koulaksezian, Director of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam; on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Fair, Mr. Nicolas Trentesaux, General Director of SIAL system in the world, COMEXPOSIUM Group, French foreign trade consultant and representative of Vietnamese enterprises.
Returning after nearly 3 years of hiatus due to the Covid-19 epidemic, SIAL Shanghai 2023 has become one of the most important events for organizations and businesses operating in the food sector worldwide and China.
With an exhibition area of up to 180,000m², SIAL Shanghai 2023 attracts about 4,500 international businesses to display their products at 12 thematic exhibition areas on imported synthetic foods, health foods, and dairy products, premium beverages, general food, fast food, fresh meat, frozen food, agricultural product supply chain, packaging – processing… and national pavilion. The fair is expected to have about 150,000 visitors, looking for cooperation opportunities.
At SIAL Shanghai 2023, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, as the official representative of SIAL Network in Vietnam, hosted the Vietnam Pavilion (Vietnam Pavilion) with the participation of 23 businesses Vietnamese industry in the fields of food, vegetables, agricultural product processing, confectionery, beverage, etc., in order to support and promote Vietnamese food and beverage products to the world market.
Located in a central position in the national pavilion area, the Vietnamese booth was quickly recognized, and the company’s products were easily noticed by visitors from not only China but also many countries around the world.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Vietnam pavilion, Consul General Nguyen The Tung emphasized the great potential of economic-trade cooperation and especially in the field of agricultural products and food between Vietnam and China.
